The Canberra Circle of Women welcomes donations of the following items to support our programs in Australia and overseas.
Fabrics: cotton, linen, poly-cotton and flannelette
Yarn: acrylic and woollen yarn
Trims: elastic, ribbons, and cotton lace
Linen: sheets and towels, cot sheets, cot and baby sized blankets, muslin wraps
Linen items must be clean and undamaged and have lots of “life” left in them
Clothing:
- Home-sewn or knitted children’s clothing
- Children or baby jumpers or beanies
- Adult beanies and scarves
- Baby clothing - new or good used condition
- Underwear
- new undies for children or women,
- new or clean preloved bras (good condition with lots of wear)
- New socks
Stationery: unused stationery items - lined exercise books, pens, coloured and writing pencils, rulers, erasers & sharpeners
Toiletries: small sized (e.g. hotel) toiletry items such as soap and body wash
Toys & Games: new or used (good condition) toys, balls, puzzles and games - please wash all soft toys
We also run donation campaigns at various points during the year to support specific areas of need in or programs within Australia and overseas.
Adults sandals, shoes, thongs and gumboots
- Sheets, pillowcases and towels (new or good pre-loved condition only)
- Stationery for school - new - exercise books, pencils and rulers etc
- Pads and tampons (wrapped in original packaging)
- First aid supplies - bandages, dressings, antiseptic
- Toiletries - hotel size and larger
Donation drop off - Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm
Out of hour donations - white bins outside our main office door.
